Our advice is that it is better to take too many catheters than not enough! If you are travelling abroad you can ask your doctor to write a letter about the purpose of the catheters, that way you will avoid any problems with customs officials. If you are uncertain about the quality of the water where you are going, it could be a good idea to use bottled water, sterile water or saline solution.
