Each LoFric package contains everything you need to empty your bladder. You don't need any extra lubricant. That makes LoFric both comfortable and easy to use. Soak the LoFric catheter in sterile water for 30 seconds while you get ready to catheterize. As the catheter soaks the water binds to the catheter creating a slippery surface layer, which will remain in place during the entire emptying of the bladder.
Single-use product
Remember that LoFric is designed for single-use only! Never use the same catheter twice. The surface layer loses its characteristics and the risk of infection will increase if you use the catheter more than once.
